The Crafty Studio
The cute and cozy Crafty Studio is the home-based studio of Crafty Director, Renée Sala, her partner Lane and their baby Remy. Set in the basement of a cute 1920's character home in the Jubilee area of Victoria, it's warm, colourful, and inspiring! Crafty has been at this location for almost 9 years.
We have 2 pottery wheels, shelves of fabric, pockets filled with colourful wool, a decoration station, and a cubby for each Crafty Kid. Our walls are hung with photos of students, painted with giant polka-dots, and student work. The energy is full with creativity and there are projects on the go in every corner.
Throughout each semester your child will create projects and gain skills in clay, felt-making, paper maché, sewing and more!
The kids learn all about the materials they're using; such as how the earth makes clay for us or what a sheep looks like after it's been sheared!
They are always encouraged to plan their projects in their sketchbooks before and during their process. We experiment with design and decoration while exploring new mediums. Under our guidance your kids will create the things they want to create with the techniques we teach them.
All classes are developed by Renée Sala, Director of Crafty, and are led by her and the other lovely & experienced Art Instructors that make up the Crafty Team.
Enrol your kids today for the upcoming semester!
